Sensory processing disorder (SPD) presents challenges for individuals regardless of age. In essence, SPD relates to how the brain interprets sensory stimuli from the world around them. This means that individuals with SPD may feel sensations in a unique way than others. Several common symptoms of SPD include: Over-sensitivity to sounds, light
